A limited fine art summer portrait experience celebrating the dogs who leave paw prints on our hearts forever.
In November, I lost my heart dog, Kera.
She was my best friend, my muse, my shadow, and the reason I fell so deeply in love with photographing dogs in the first place. Like so many soul dogs, she wasn’t perfect — and I loved her even more because of it.
A few days after losing her, I found myself writing a letter to her. Not for anyone else to read, but because there were still so many things I wanted to say that I could no longer say to her. Memories I never wanted to forget. Little details that made her her. The quiet moments that somehow meant everything.
And through that grief, I realized something:
We wait too long.
We wait for the “right time” to take the photos. To print the artwork. To put into words what our dogs truly mean to us. But the truth is, our time with them is never long enough — no matter how many years we’re given.
That is why I created Letters to My Dog — In Honor of Kera.
This experience was created for the people who know their dog is more than “just a pet.” For the ones who see a piece of their heart looking back at them every time their dog meets their eyes.

The Letters to My Dog Experience — $500
- A 60 minute Signature studio portrait session for one dog
- A virtual pre-Experience planning consultation
- Guided love letter prompts to help you write your tribute to your pet
- A design consultation where you will see your dog's portraits for the first time and choose your favorites.
- One handcrafted 8x10 luxury Ecru beige velvet folio featuring your favorite fine art, matted portrait of your dog and your written love letter.
- A portion of every experience helps sponsor the adoption fee of a black Great Dane through Save Rocky the Great Dane Rescue and Rehab.
Additional dogs may be included for $150 each and receive their own folio.
Many clients choose to preserve additional portraits through custom wall art, treasure boxes, or fine art collections during their design consultation.
With only two sessions available each week, availability is extremely limited.

Black dogs are often overlooked in shelters and rescue programs, despite having just as much love to give. As someone whose life was forever changed by a black Great Dane, helping another dog find their family feels like a meaningful way to honor Kera's memory.
Every portrait created through this experience helps continue her legacy of love while giving another deserving dog the chance to find a home of their own.
